Imagine that you’re at a sporting event, indoor or outdoor (depending on your hemispheric season). Vendors hawk hotdogs, popcorn and other things that cause holistic types to cringe. But hey, grabbing one of those 50-50 split raffle tickets might be the thing! What are the odds? You’d do better betting on yourself. Knowing what you innately possess, how and when to apply it... you know, the kind of stuff you can glean from an astrological consultation (or astrological course of study). Here’s a link to get you started: One Stop.
My marketing research indicates people click links better when they’re at the top of a post than at the bottom. Henceforth and for as long as I continue to do these posts, there’s going to be a link at the top. At least your cosmic reading will not be interrupted while in progress.
Some have scoffed at my suggestion that Venus and Jupiter in the western sky stand out as brilliant wishing planets. Put your best energy on them and project for optimistic results without expectation. As we know from the book about manifestation that became the rage a few years ago, sitting on the couch and affirming this or that while doom scrolling on your phone lacks the energy to manifest results. And yeah, it’s true that Jupiter teases and taunts grand, promising things and fulfills those promises only if you do your part.
There is an effective means for utilizing the upcoming (9 June) brilliant conjunction of Venus to Jupiter. Before affirming what you know you seek, what you intend to create, or value the outcomes that may result, do your homework. Here in the U.S. of A. it’s the Memorial Day Holiday. Hardly the holiday for those memorialized. Still, there’s a long holiday weekend ahead to do your homework and transit prep work. Well, that sounds simple. How hard can it be to apply the planets?
Come Thursday of next week (28 May), Venus stands conjunct Psyche in Cancer and simultaneously, she squares Saturn in Aries. Oh no, not Venus square Saturn... didn’t we have some hard Venus/Saturn thing a while ago? You mean when Venus was in Aries in March conjunct Saturn? And don’t we have an opposition when Venus does her balancing act in Libra come August a day or two before the Sun enters Virgo? Yes, all those times. And more in the future. If you want to fine tooth comb the transits, you can find semi-squares, sesquiquadrates and quincunxes to muck up the mix.
Fundamentally, what is the point of Venus square Saturn? Often during these transits others tell you to be grateful, take account of your blessings... things you don’t feel like doing at all. And if you do count your blessings, a deficit is commonly discovered. You know, when you realize you need so much more to fulfill even the minimums of contentment. Saturn’s effort in pointing out lack is to motivate a human to engage and determine a creative course and action list for fulfilling what may be lacking.
With Venus, one must value all inner resources: skills acquired, blended with God-granted talents, things learned so well in previous lifetimes that they carried over, and those things that stimulate your curiosity. The combined package forms a soulfully realized nucleus of all good things that one can do and do well. Take none of this for granted! Enhance and embellish all skills. Someone whose home was destroyed by storms or wildfires stands with a TV reporter and assesses the mundane catastrophe and says, “Well, at least I can still tinker, invent, craft, sculpt, paint, write, perform and rebuild everything better than before. That wasn’t taken away” True that. And it doesn’t take a worldly catastrophe to have such a realization. It takes a Saturn transit.
Now this whole Venus to Psyche thing is something of its own. In the recent past, astronomers declared that if Psyche could be mined, her physical composition would be worth more that the entire economy of the Earth. Staggering, right? Are you aware that several companies are planning to do exactly that? As soon as 2029! They are Google-able and they intend to mine Psyche and other asteroids deemed plunderable. Wait! So now not only do we need to oppose data centers that will suck up all our water and energy and pollute the earth, we have to oppose asteroid mining, too? Only if you want to avoid so much asteroid mining that it alters the gravitational barycenter of the asteroid belt... which could perturb Mars, who hates to be annoyed.
Sure, that’s pretty dang lofty and Venus isn’t quite square Saturn yet. What about me in this mix? And back to Saturn in Aries we are...
Symbolically, the physical facts about Psyche suggest unlimited resource exists within her and her dimensions. Since Psyche associates with alternate state of consciousness, how about a couple planetary procedures immediately before bed? This enables Psyche to do her work with your soul during your sleep.
First, stand in front a mirror, brush your hair and propitiate to Sedna as the elders in the Inuit clan would do to secure good fortune in hunting and fishing and providing for the people. Affirm your good and your ability to provide what you need for you and yours. Then, in the sleep state, seek what you do not yet realize you possess that organically exists within. Commit to locating unknown attributes through the nonconscious state and agree to integrate them into full soulful awareness, no matter how strange the dream.
Next, hit the hay and take a moment to affirm that all dreams serve the purposes of creative self discovery. When waking up between dreams, take a couple of sips from the hydration source on your night stand, then use that moment to anchor the dream, howsoever strange, into your psychic reservoirs.
Maybe you don’t want to do the dream state thing. Maybe you prefer utilizing a directed meditation to extract inner resources. No matter. That works, too. A walk in nature, typing on your keyboard with no real agenda, rolling over a Pilates Ball. All of it works. It’s a matter of setting a clear intention prior to the procedure so your soul can tune into all valuable commodities at the time they appear.
The end result is that natural resources accumulate - previously unknown and undiscovered resources. And these freshly discovered personal commodities all intend to provide tools and skills to overcome any deficit Saturn may reveal.
Given infusion of previously known and recently acquired personal attributes, when stepping out in the next weeks to examine the western evening sky, a sense of gratitude for all personal resources within extends into and fills the evening sky with warmth, hope, and commitment to consecrating all the value that lies latently sourced within. Thus, wishing on brilliant planets possesses some hope of actual, real-world manifestation.
Here’s to memorializing the amalgamated value of Venus, Psyche and Saturn.
There will be no SkyScraping during this next week unless a newly named Centaur or Kuiper Belt Object appears or unless Planet Nine is discovered or some consciousness shifting event occurs that cannot be ignored!
